FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What do I wear to class?
Honestly, anything that you feel comfortable and confident in is a great place to start. The last thing you want is to feel self-conscious or uncomfortable in your dance fit. So, we’ve got some suggestions for each style:
Hip Hop, Commercial and Dance Fitness: Street sneakers/jogger footwear, active wear, trackpants/shorts, your favourite baggy tee-shirts. Anything sweat-ready, hehe.
Heels: Long pants and/or knee pads is essential! For footwear, wear any heel that has ankle support (can be a stiletto, a heeled boot or a block heel with straps).
Contemporary: Socks or half-socks, long pants and/or kneepads for floor work.
Ballet: Socks or half-socks, consider fitted clothing (assists with seeing your lines).
How do I find the studio?
Our address is 156 Aumuller Street, Bungalow, but the entrance can be a little tricky to find. If you are on Aumuller Street, you will see we are placed between Bullsnips Barbershop and EasySleep Mattresses. If you’re facing the ‘front’ of our studio, turn left and go around the corner, through the big gates. If you’re on Scott Street, just enter through the big gates.
This is where you will find our entrance (we use the back entrance because we’re cool like that).
Where do I park?
There is so much parking available! You can park inside the gates, on the grassed area around the entire building, or choose on-street parking. All free and easy.
How early should I arrive?
If you’re all booked and paid for your class, there is no need to arrive more than 5 minutes before class. However, if you arrive earlier please note that the studio opens 15 minutes before the first class each day. You’re welcome to chill out in our waiting area!
Do I always have to book ahead?
It is preferred that you pre-book your classes. As we are a small business, we cannot guarantee that administration will always be available to take on-the-spot payments and bookings. Furthermore, pre-bookings helps the teacher prepare for the class by knowing student numbers, familiarity and general abilities.
